San Francisco times

Vacation & Location
Matt & I had wonderful luck finding a perfect location for the next Specks & Keepings shoot in our friends living, growing, studio space last night. I can't wait for you all to see what a fantastically inspiring group of spaces they have made into their home, studios, workshops, and garden.
Also, I am leaving tonight to go visit family in California. I may be a bit bad about posting for the next week, but I will be sure to share pictures of the trip when I get home.

Renegade Craft Fairs
I will be selling my goods at the San Francisco Renegade Craft Fair with mom this coming Saturday & Sunday. Come see new dresses and coats by Rebe along with my new drawings, mobiles, and pocket dolls!
We will also be selling our goods at the Los Angeles Renegade Craft Fair the following weekend. I will only be there on Saturday, July 16th, but Rebe will be there both days. Hope to see you there!
Happy 1st Birthday
The little boy I watch turned one yesterday. I made him a bear for his birthday. I think he liked it, he put it right in his mouth. Also, I thought you might enjoy seeing my orange sparkle nails by Annika. I hope you all had a wonderful Independence Day!

My Pinterest
I have been having fun with Pinterest.
I hope you are all having a nice day. I spent the afternoon in the pool with the little one I watch, it was very fun. On my way home, I popped in the new Sardinian pasta & paste shop that opened down the street. Tried a delicious banana and chocolate pastry. I am excited to try their other treats.

I happened upon this blog this morning, Brinja Kobenhaven. Brinja is making a miniature home of her home. It is exactly similar, with much attention paid to each piece of furniture, wallpaper, and art. What a special project, being inside your space double, the intimacy of looking, knowing something all the way through.

Pile of Craft 2011
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Thanks to all of you who popped by on Saturday for a visit to Pile of Craft. The last photograph is of Kate with a matching pocket doll. I was excited to see what a nice pair they made. The nicer of the photos were taken by Ashley North Compton and the others were taken by me. Visit here to see more photos from the show.
I also got a new pair of glasses this weekend. They're purple and they glow. They are by far the most exciting glasses I have ever had. I am waiting for them to arrive in the mail with their new lenses.

My friend Sophie sent me a pair of Dub & Drino socks and leggings for a gift. I love them so much and I wear them all the time. What wonderful things they make in France! Thank you Sophie!

I was browsing Kristin Klarin's blog this morning and found the image above of her table with Sardinian sweets on it. I thought the dense patterns looked beautiful scattered one atop the other. This photograph made me wonder, what's on your table and what's on mine? There is a Sardinian sweet shop opening down the street from me, I am very excited to try it.
