She believed feelings were part of your body. Physical. They were set in somewhere by your lungs soft and squishy. Very fragile. That's why feelings would get hurt so often.

I love this by Renilde De Peuter.

Matt is on tour with our friends Andy and Jen, from Wye Oak. I have been keeping track of their trip via Matt's photographs on his blog. It can feel strange at times to share a bit of someone's experience through the the internet rather than connecting with them more personally and directly. On the upside, it is very immediate and makes it easy for me to share with you as well. Here are a few of my favorites...

Good night

I am sleepy even though it is still early for many people. I just wanted to share Christine Tillman's new site.

Also, Caroline Larsen's oval paintings made to look like weavings or embroidered works are so wonderful.

While we're here...photograph by Shiba Huizer, via Maranon. The styling is electric. It feels a bit like being inside one of Caroline Larsen's paintings.

robot

Found here. I like the idea of a robot being modeled after a toy and costumed for the job it was built to do.

Video Time

This video is so good, via Mrs. G.

Nice to look at in thinking about the video, image via Maranon.
Nice banana video here as well. Bottom picture via Intelligent Clashing.

Table Toppppps

I like these table top compositions from this nice blog. Also very cute kitties there as well.
