Drawing With Embroidery, An Introduction To Surface Design is a hands on workshop designed to teach and inspire the use of embroidery as a tool for image making. As a class we will explore simple stitches and techniques that will allow us to draw on fabric. Students will begin a hand drawn sampler on which to learn new stitches.
